Vietnam–China Construction Trade Forum Opens Fresh Pathways for Vietnamese Exporters

Hanoi, 5 July 2025 — Nearly 100 respected companies from Vietnam and China gathered in the capital today for the Vietnam–China Construction Trade Forum, hosted by the Vietnam Global E-commerce Association (VGEA).
The event is billed as a turning point for Vietnamese firms eager to tap China’s vast appetite for building materials and high-tech construction equipment.

Why the forum matters

  • Direct access to a high-demand market: Chinese importers are stepping up orders for green materials and advanced machinery, giving Vietnamese suppliers a shot at larger, longer contracts.
  • Face-to-face deal-making: Curated B2B meetings let participants negotiate terms on the spot, laying the groundwork for durable partnerships.
  • Tech trend briefings: Sessions on recycled aggregates, smart-site automation and other innovations armed Vietnamese companies with know-how to sharpen their competitive edge.

“This forum is more than a showcase,” said Nguyễn Văn A, VGEA vice-chair. “It’s a live laboratory for joint projects. We expect Vietnamese exports of materials and equipment to rise—and we’ll bring home new technology to boost value.”

Early outcomes

  • Green supply pledges: Multiple Chinese buyers signalled interest in Vietnamese recycled and low-carbon materials for major urban projects.
  • Equipment export leads: Talks advanced on shipping automated tunnelling machines and intelligent safety-alert systems to mainland constructors.
  • Joint-venture prospects: Investors explored co-developing industrial parks and urban zones in both countries.

Next steps

VGEA will keep brokering digital and on-site exchanges, guiding Vietnamese firms through Chinese regulations and e-commerce channels. Site inspections in Guangdong and Guangxi are planned for Q4, with follow-up contract signings expected by Lunar New Year.
