VGEA – A Journey of Connection, Growth, and Global Reach
The story of the Vietnam Global E-commerce Association (VGEA) began with a bold vision: to create a dynamic business platform that strongly connects the Vietnamese business community, empowering enterprises to confidently step into the digital era filled with both opportunities and challenges.
Driven by a deep belief that robust collaboration among enterprises is crucial for success in today’s rapidly changing environment, the founders of VGEA set forth a clear goal: to build a large and powerful domestic business community where buying and selling information, as well as partnership opportunities, could be shared widely, quickly, and accurately.
To realize this ambition, VGEA first laid down a strong digital foundation by developing an extensive database containing one million phone numbers of businesses across Vietnam. This database was not simply a collection of numbers—it was a priceless resource opening countless opportunities for business cooperation, setting the groundwork for lasting and meaningful connections.
However, recognizing that people are the cornerstone of success, VGEA established a dedicated team composed of passionate, committed, and professional individuals. This team traveled throughout every region, connecting directly with businesses, hosting seminars, training sessions, and trade promotion events, significantly strengthening community bonds and enhancing mutual collaboration and growth.
These tireless efforts bore remarkable fruit. By 2025, the VGEA community had grown impressively, encompassing over 18,000 members—a number that continues to increase, reflecting the association’s growing prestige and attraction.
This vibrant and extensive community has become Vietnam’s greatest asset in welcoming international enterprises, particularly those from China—a key market eager for promising business opportunities in Vietnam. Supported by VGEA’s expansive network and modern technology platform, Vietnamese businesses can now not only connect directly with international partners but also collaborate effectively with global enterprises to seize new market opportunities and expand their presence worldwide.
